Visit to Illinois

We got home this evening from Illinois. We spent a few days down there visiting my mom's family. We had a wonderful time. We all commented that it was the best time we think we have ever had with them. Not that we don't usually have a good time with them... :) This time was just exceptionally good.
Last night everyone got together for dinner. We didn't quite all get to be together because Erin's husband had to go to a meeting. :( Of course Rob and Chrissy weren't there either since they live in California.
We had a birthday cake for Grandpa. He turned 90 last month. He is is such good health for his age!
The rest of the evening we just visited, exchanged a few gifts, sang and played, and just enjoyed each others company.
What a blessing the time was!
